About Reseller Margins

What is Reseller Margins?
Reseller Margins is a free, real-time fee calculator for online sellers in the United States. Enter your sale price, shipping cost, and item cost once — and instantly see your take-home profit across eBay, Depop, Poshmark, and Mercari side by side. No account required. No email wall. No subscription tier. Just the numbers.
Why it exists
Marketplace fee structures change more often than most sellers realise. A platform that charged a straightforward flat commission last year may now layer in per-transaction processing charges, optional boost fees, or tiered rates that vary by category or seller status. When you are listing the same item across multiple storefronts, manually tracking each platform's current rate is error-prone and time-consuming.
Reseller Margins was built to remove that friction. The goal is a single, always-current reference that any seller — from someone clearing out their wardrobe to a full-time resale business — can use to price confidently without guesswork.
What platforms are covered?
- eBay US — Final Value Fees (standard and promotional/store rate), fixed per-order charge
- Depop US — Payment processing fee, optional 12% boosted listing charge
- Poshmark US — Flat $2.95 fee on sales ≤ $15; 20% commission on sales > $15
- Mercari US — Selling fee plus payment processing fee
How rates are kept current
Fee rates are updated on a best-effort basis whenever platforms announce changes. All figures shown are for US sellers and reflect the 2026 rate schedules as publicly documented by each platform. If you spot an error or an outdated rate, please get in touch — corrections are applied as quickly as possible.
A note on accuracy
The calculations here are estimates based on each platform's published fee documentation. They are intended for planning purposes — to help you price listings and compare platforms — not as a substitute for each platform's official fee schedule. Always verify fees on the platform directly before making pricing decisions. See our Terms & Conditions for the full disclaimer.
